LAMDA HELLIX, the leading data center high quality services provider, announced today that it was awarded the Outstanding Performance Award for “Development – Investment Activity” at Business IT Excellence (BITE) Awards 2014.

LAMDA HELLIX’ participation was regarding the implementation of an investment plan for new facilities development at Koropi, Attica. With this investment, LAMDA HELLIX will develop new services that are expected to transform the company so as to be able to provide equipment hosting services to businesses of any size, in the most advanced and modern manner. Among them: high density computing for cloud and big data services, reliable interconnectivity by employing multiple SPs, and access to a wide ecosystem of easily accessible services for all customers.

LAMDA HELLIX’ investment plan, which is part of the company’s comprehensive development strategy for within Greece and abroad, is currently under deployment and will be fully operative by the last quarter of calendar year 2014.
When completed, the new data center services offered by LAMDA HELLIX will be amongst the first globally that, on top of certified for high availability, they will be certified for being environmentally friendly as well, by recognized international bodies (LEED v4 Gold DC Certification).

LAMDA HELLIX was honored during the BITE Awards Ceremony, held in Athens on Monday, June 30, 2014. The company was awarded the Outstanding Performance Award for “Development – Investment Activity”. The award was accepted by Thomas Skaperdas, Director of Financial & Corporate Development, who said afterwards: "Development is based on investments.
