LAMDA Hellix SA, the leading and award-winning provider of Neutral World-Class Data Center Services in South East Europe, announces its results for the twelve months ended 31 December 2011:

• Adjusted EBITDA up 27% to €2.268.274
•Profit After Tax up 80% to €1.071.901

The fourth quarter of 2011 was LAMDA Hellix’s 33rd consecutive quarter of quarterly profitability and fiscal year 2011 was the best ever in terms of Revenues, EBITDA, EBT and EAT. Despite the macro conditions in the Greek and the European economy, LAMDA Hellix delivered significant organic growth both in its core Data Center as well as its Integration & Consulting services segments, proving once again that the business is extremely robust and counter-cyclical. LAMDA Hellix agrees with analysts’ views that the sector defies the wider economic slowdown and has in fact benefited from current macro conditions, which have accelerated IT outsourcing trends.
Apostolos Kakkos, Founder & CEO of LAMDA Hellix, commented: “We are very pleased with our 2011 results and the continuation of our organic growth. During the course of the year we have seen a significant number of additional high-quality customers becoming part of our ecosystems (Financial, Telecom, Government, e-business, Cloud, etc.) such as: Vodafone (LSE: VOD), Cogent Communications (NASDAQ:CCOI) Hellenic Exchanges (ASE:EXAE), Euronet (NASDAQ: EEFT), Western Union (NYSE:WU), Velti (NASDAQ:VELT) and InternetQ (AIM:INTQ) among others.
In addition, we strengthened our Balance Sheet, launched successfully the first high grade internet multi-homing service in Greece, added 250KW of new data center space in Athens-I and received prestigious awards such as Best European DC Facilities Management company for 2011 and Best Workplace in Greece 2012.
Based on our Q1-2012 preliminary results and the current market demand, we anticipate further continuation of our growth, due to increased acceleration of IT outsourcing and increased demand, from the managed services/cloud and gaming sectors. In light of the above we have speeded up the development of Athens-II, to be delivered by Q1-2013 and are evaluating opportunities for strategic acquisitions across South Eastern Europe".
