Operating since January 2015, Athens-2 is compliant with Uptime Institute’s strictest data center availability standards, Tier III. It was designed and developed to provide incomparable energy efficiency and is one of few data centers in the world to obtain the US. LEED v4 Gold Certification; a recognition for the design, implementation and operation of energy-efficient buildings and facilities.
