The Uptime Institute provides education, consulting, certifications and pioneers the creation and facilitation of end-user knowledge communities to improve reliability and uninterruptible availability -uptime- in Data Center facilities
The Tier Designer Accreditation responds to the fact that the Tier Classification System (TCS) is increasingly propagated in Data Center projects across the globe and there is a growing need for more sufficient implementation of the TCS into detailed design. The use of an Accredited Design Engineer will enable clients to:
  • Save money: reduce costs by minimizing lost design due to misunderstood Tier criteria.
  • Optimize schedule: Shorten design interval by limiting iterative design – design directly to the Tier objective.
  • Increase satisfaction: Properly apply the Tier concepts to deliver on-time, on-budget, and Tier Certified design.
